Membership Dues
TMTA membership dues cannot be deducted as a charitable contribution for federal income tax purposes. Membership dues can be deducted as a business expense. Federal tax laws require a portion of dues related to lobbying,which> TMTA has estimated to be 7.7% for 2008, is not deductible as an ordinary and necessary expense.
Verification
The above company hereby agrees to become a member of TMTA and agrees to pay the above-designated billing for membership dues. We also agree that this contract for dues payment will remain in effect until the above company notifies TMTA in writing at least 30 days prior to cancellation of the membership.
